Born in Moscow in 1952.

In 1975, graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Arts and Industry (formerly, the Stroganov School).

She lives and works in Moscow.

Participant of more than 200 exhibitions held in the USSR, Russia and other countries (Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Holland, etc.), including 4 personal exhibitions.

The sculptor’s artistic works are at the State Tretyakov Gallery and at other museums and galleries in Russia, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Hungary and in private collections in Russia and abroad.

E. Surovtseva was awarded with GRAND PRIX at the International Small-Size Plastic Arts Symposium in Hungary in 1985. Other prizes she is winner of: FPS Award for Literature and Arts; the Golden Wreath of Russia.
