In 1996, he finished the School of Arts in Nizhni Novgorod. In 1971,
graduated from the Higher School of Arts and Industry (formerly, the
Stroganov School).
Since 1974, he is a Member of the USSR Artists’ Union (presently, the
entity is named the Russian Artists’ Union).
Since 1995, he has been teaching at the Moscow University of Arts and
Industry named after Stroganov.
He lives and works in Moscow.
Since 1966, he has taken part in a large number of exhibitions in Russia
and abroad (USA, France, Great Britain, Norway, etc.), including 15
personal exhibitions.
The artist’s works are on permanent display at the State Tretyakov
Gallery, the State Russian Museum and in more than 20 Russian and
foreign museums and in many private collections.
