"Vase"

Born in Penza in 1957.

Finished the Penza School of Arts named after K.A. Savitsky in 1979; graduated from the State University of Arts named after S.G. Stroganov, Department of Monumental Painting, in 1989. In 1991, admitted into the Moscow Artists’ Union.

He lives and works in Moscow.

He has been taking part in exhibitions since 1987. The main exhibitions he has taken part in:

1987	"The Artist and Time" Republican Exhibition (Moscow).
1987	All-union exhibition of works by young artists (Moscow).
1988	Exhibition of works by young Russian artists in Cuba.
1988	"Soviet Youth" Exhibition in Japan.
1988	Personal exhibition at the State University of Arts named after S. G. Stroganov.
1988	Personal exhibition at the Avantgardists’ Club.
1990	Group exhibition in Rome.
1991	Group exhibition at the Central House of Artists (Moscow).
1991	"ART MYTHE-2" (Moscow).
1992	"Russian Artists" Republic Exhibition (Moscow).
1993	Exhibition held jointly with Olga Trushnikova in Kindberg (Austria).
1994	Personal exhibition at the Central House of Artists (Moscow).
1995	Exhibition held jointly with Olga Trushnikova at the Central House of Artists (Moscow).
1998	Personal exhibition at "Interior Designing Art Association" (Moscow).
2001	Exhibition held jointly with Olga Trushnikova at the Central House of Artists (Moscow).
2004	Exhibition held jointly with Olga Trushnikova at the Central House of Artists (Moscow).

S. Mantserev’s artistic works are at N.K. Roerich Museum (Moscow), L.N. Tolstoi Museum (Moscow) and in private collections in Russia, France, USA, Germany, Italy and Great Britain.
