Resident of Moscow since 1958. Finished the
Moscow Secondary School of Arts under the Moscow State Institute of
Arts named after Surikov in 1976. Afterwards, graduated from the
Moscow State Institute of Arts named after Surikov (Studio Director:
D.K. Mochalsky) in 1983. Member of Moscow Department of the Russian
Artists’ Union since 1987.
Since 1983, he has taken part in a large number of All-Union, Republican, Moscow-based and foreign
exhibitions, including:

Georgy Dmitriev’s artistic works are within the Russian Ministry of
Culture Collection, at the Vyxa Museum (the Russian Federation),
Museum of Modern Arts in Taipei (Taiwan), as well as at galleries and
private collections in Turkey, Germany, Denmark, USA, Great Britain,
Canada, France, Spain, Korea, Finland, Japan, etc.
