 | | Zaripova Ludmila Denisovna | | | Born in 1944 in Mongolia.
Resident of Moscow since 1949. In 1976,
graduated from the Moscow Institute of Polygraphy, Department of
Arts. In 1980, entered the Artists’ Union. Since 1965, she has
made a number of travels throughout the USSR: Ferapontov, Vologda,
the Solovets Islands, Crimea, Daghestan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and
Latvia. In 1980’s, a number of foreign travels: Poland,
Germany, Turkey and Egypt; in 1990’s, travels to Spain, France,
Italy and Germany.
She lives and works in Moscow.
She has taken part in various exhibitions since 1979. Participant of a
large number of exhibitions held in the USSR, Russia and abroad, including:
| 1982 | Personal exhibition held jointly with the Artist A. Zaripov. |
| 1990 | Biennale in Ankara, Turkey. |
| 1990 | "Collection-89" Group exhibition in Helsinki. |
| 1992 | Exhibition dedicated to K. Malevich’s 100-th Anniversary, held in the State Tretyakov Gallery, named: "Modern Artists – to Malevich". |
| 1999 | "Experiences in Harmony" Personal exhibition, the Central House of Artists, Moscow. |
| 2001 | "Abstract Art in Russia of 20-th Century" Exhibition, the State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg. |
| 2004 | Jubilee exhibition of artistic works, the Moscow Artists’ Union, Moscow. |
The artist’s works are at the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow,
the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and at many other Russian
museums and in private collections in the CIS, France, Japan, USA,
Turkey, Israel, Poland, etc.
