A. Stekolschikov
"Pilgrimage"
 
Was born on 6th of January,1967 in Moscow in an artist family.

1978 - entered Moscow secondary artistic school under institute (MSAS) named after V.I. Surikov

1985 - completed full course at MSAS with painting specialization

1985 - entered Moscow State Arts institute n.a. V.I. Surikov. From the first year studied in "Workshop portrait" under the guidance of professor I.S. Glazunov (easel painting department)

1985-1987 - did military service in USSR Armed Forces

1993 - by defending his degree work with the painting "Taking baptism in a returned temple" with excellence he graduated from MSAI n.a. V.I. Surikov and got a specialization of a painter.

1993 - became a member of the Moscow Artist Union (MAU)

2005 - he was instated as an "Honoured artist of Russian Federation"

Since 1985 a participant of more than 60 Moscow, Russian and Foreign exhibitions including:

1987 - Russian Youth Exhibition "Youth of Russia" (Central House of Artists - CHA halls).
1988 - Moscow Exhibition "Earth and people" (CHA).
1988 - Republican Exhibition in Leningrad "Still-life - interior" (Central exhibition hall "The Manezh").
1992 - Zonal Exhibition "Russia" (CEH "The Manezh").
1994 - "Russian painters of an Orthodox Church" (in Russian Academy of arts halls Exhibition.
1997 - Russian Exhibition "Painters of Russia to 850 anniversary of Moscow" (CHA).
1998 - Russian Visiting Exhibition "Monuments of mother land" (Yaroslavl, Tver, Setgeev-Posad).
1998 - Exhibition of Moscow orthodox painters "A pathway to The Cathedral" (First Exhibition in The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour).
1999 - Russian Exhibition arranged to anniversary of A.S. Pushkin "Eyes charm" (State Exhibition Hall "New Manezh").
1999 - Russian Exhibition "Boldin-s autumn" (CHA).
2000 - 10th Anniversary Exhibition of paintings dedicated to 55 years of Victory in Great Patriotic War (1941-45)(CHA).
2000 - Russian artistic Exhibition arranged to 2000 years of the birth of Christ "In the name of yours" (CHA).
2000 - Exhibition "St. Peterburg-Moscow" (CEH the Manezh).
2001 - Russian artistic Exhibition "Young Painters of Russia" (CHA).
2002 - Exhibition of Moscow artists union "The world of paintings" (CHA).
2002 - 2nd group Exhibition "Russian paintings. ХХI-century" (International fund of Slavic writing) A.Stekholschikov is the organizer and the author of the project.
2003 - Personal Exhibition "Russian landscape" (Trade economic university).
2004 - "Moscow painters association Exhibition" (Exhibition hall on Kuznetskiy Most 20).
2004 - "Russian anniversary Exhibition" (CHA).
2004 - Personal Exhibition "Boris and Gleb chronicle" (State Exhibition hall "New Manezh").
2004 - Personal Exhibition "Native vastness" (Moscow town-hall, on Tverskaya street).
2005 - International Exhibition dedicated to 60 years of Victory in Great Patriotic War(CHA).
2006 - Moscow Exhibition "World of painting and sculpture" (CHA).
2006 - Personal Exhibition "Russian province" (halls of Federal Security Service Academy).
2007 - International Exhibition of an orthodox art "Light to the world" (CEH the Manezh).
2007 - Large group Exhibition "Painters of Moscow-6" (Moscow house of painters on Kuznetskiy Most 11) A.Stekholschikov is the organizer and the author of the project.
2007 - Moscow Exhibition "75 years of MAU" (CEH the Manezh).
2008 - Exhibition dedicated to 75 years of MAU "Moscow-painters-Moscow" (CHA).
2008 - Personal Exhibition "On the native land" (in the Federation council halls).
2008 - International Exhibition "Motherland" (CHA).
2008 - Family Exhibition of four generations "Family and art" (State Exhibition Hall "Zamoskvorechie").

His paintings are found in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
